NEW WORK

My new work captures the positive inner spirit of my subjects, who include celebrities, politicians, family and friends.

My interest in contemporary portraits began in the 1970s inspired by the work of David Hockney first seen at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.

An English artist born in
Stoke-on-Trent in 1951, I studied fine art and graphics at Leek School of Art and Stoke on Trent School of Art.

After a career in London in design and visual identity for leading UK and International clients I am returning to my first love - painting.

I now work between London and Lymington on the south coast of England, UK.

I work in oil and acrylic and am currently studying at Chelsea Collage of Art and working towards my London exhibition.
